This year we are featuring a special
'Summer of Lieb' retro theme - live music by The Contractors, food by Waterside Caterers, raffles, wine tastings, and more.

We are also adding a VIP tasting hour at the beginning of the event (12:00 - 1:00) where guests will sample unreleased vintages of Lieb wines, passed hors d'oeuvres, and includes a VIP gift bag. VIP tasting tickets cost extra and must be reserved and pre-paid in advance. (limited number of tickets available)

Our first Rosé release since 2007, the 2009 vintage is made from 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Merlot, and 18% Pinot Blanc grapes. This quintessential summer wine is crisp and dry with aromas of strawberries and watermelon followed by delicate floral nuances and a hint of grapefruit and honeydew melon. Rosé is the BEST for summer grilling. Try it with barbecue, pasta or potato salads. This may be our very best rosé ever and is now available online.

Lieb Cellars continues it's tradition of charitable giving during Run for Rosés Month in Long Island Wine Country

  Throughout the month of May, visit   Lieb Cellars for complimentary   tastings of our 2008 Bridge Lane White Merlot. $1.00 for every bottle purchased is donated to The Carol Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund. And in honor of the Long Island Run for Rosés Campaign an additional dollar will be donated to CancerCare all month long. We will also be offering free tastings of another charitable wine, our 2006 September's Mission Merlot, with proceeds going to the Septembers Mission Foundation. Lieb Cellars in the Wine Spectator
In the newly released November 15, 2009 issue of Wine Spectator Lieb Cellars was awarded scores of 88 points for the 2006 Reserve Chardonnay and 2005 Blanc de Blanc Sparkling Wine.

NY Times Includes 2007 Pinot Blanc in "Complex American Wine at a Price Easy to Pay"

In a recent article by Eric Asimov, chief wine critic of The New York Times, the Lieb Cellars 2007 Pinot Blanc was given a nod as an inexpensive, interesting, quality wine from the United States. Mr. Asimov writes "I got a bottle of superb 2007 pinot blanc, made by Lieb Family Cellars on the North Fork of Long Island. What a delicious wine! It was dry and creamy with a captivating texture and a mere 12.5 percent alcohol." Our Pinot Blanc was the only Long Island wine included on the list and was in good company along with famed producers such as Roederer Estate in the Anderson Valley of California, and Oregon wineries Ponzi and King Estate.
