FEATURED RESTAURANT

PINOT BLANC ON TAP?
Yes! In our continuing mission to be environmentally friendly, Lieb Cellars has introduced our first wine on tap at Lexington Brass, in midtown New York City. When the EMM Group, owners of several other fine restaurants in NY's meat-packing district (The Catch, Abe & Arthur's), invited us to work with them on a keg program, we could hardly wait. Each stainless steel refillable "keg" holds the equivalent of 26 bottles, saving the planet from empty bottles, caps, and cardboard boxes. Pinot Blanc on tap may be coming to a restaurant near you in the future, but for now, stop by Lexington Brass for a taste!
Lexington Brass, 517 Lexington Ave. at 48th St. in the lobby level of the Hyatt 48 Lex hotel.

Lieb Cellars has a long history of similar charitable work, and has been involved in the production of wines for several non-profit organizations over the past 10 years. It has always been our policy to donate our profits from these products, and we are proud to have done so.
We appreciate all of the kind support we have received this past week from first responders, active duty military, families of the victims of September 11th and the public in general, and very much look forward to the opening of the September 11th Museum and helping to preserve the memory of those lost.

NY Times Includes 2007 Pinot Blanc in "Complex American Wine at a Price Easy to Pay"
May 20, 2009
In an article by Eric Asimov, chief wine critic of The New York Times, the Lieb Cellars 2007 Pinot Blanc was given a nod as an inexpensive, interesting, quality wine from the United States. Mr. Asimov writes "I got a bottle of superb 2007 pinot blanc, made by Lieb Family Cellars on the North Fork of Long Island. What a delicious wine! It was dry and creamy with a captivating texture and a mere 12.5 percent alcohol." Our Pinot Blanc was the only Long Island wine included on the list and was in good company along with famed producers such as Roederer Estate in the Anderson Valley of California, and Oregon wineries Ponzi and King Estate.
