Lieb Family Cellars’ award winning wines are found at many of the finest restaurants and wine shops from
Manhattan to Montauk, and are self-distributed within New York State. Founded by Mark and Kathy Lieb,
who purchased their first 20 acres in 1992, their hand-tended, herbicide-free vineyard has grown to 50
acres in Cutchogue and produces more than 7,000 cases of wine annually. The Lieb Vineyard has operated
as an ecologically oriented vineyard since inception, and has been awarded a U.S.D.A. grant for
sustainable, earth-friendly farming. Lieb Cellars produces two product lines. The Estate-bottled Reserve
line consisting of Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot and Cabernet Franc are age-worthy wines offering
classic Old World elegance. The new Bridge Lane wines offer New World style, contemporary packaging,
and tremendous value in Chardonnay, Cab Franc, Merlot and Rosé varietals. These wines can all be tasted
and purchased at the Lieb Cellars tasting room, located at the Premium Wine Group at 35 Cox Neck Road

Lieb Family Cellars and Lieb Vineyard are owned by Mark and Kathy
Lieb. Born and raised in West Hartford, Connecticut, Mark lived
for several years in California where he developed his passion for
wine. Mark became involved with vineyards during the early 1980s
when he worked closely with a friend who purchased an 80-acre
vineyard in Sonoma, which later became the Landmark Winery.
After returning to the East Coast in 1985, Mark began to research
potential vineyard locations. Drawn to the North Fork of Long
Island by the beauty of the land and the superb growing conditions
for high-quality grapes, Mark and Kathy located a 20-acre vineyard
for sale in 1992. They decided that it was ideal for their plans and
purchased it immediately. A true family owned and operated
business was born! Today, Lieb Cellars has evolved into a diverse
winery business.
