What do you do at Lieb Cellars?
You can find me at the Oregon Road tasting room pouring out our delicious wines Friday- Sunday.
How did you come to work in the wine industry?
Happy accident! I moved back east recently after living in the city and working in the fashion industry for 6 years. I’m a full time mama now and wanted a part time job to accommodate the time spent with my best gal. I was introduced to the LI wine world by Micheal and the lovely ladies at Croteaux. Then Alicia, our tasting room manager at Lieb, slid into my DM’s and the rest is history!
What’s your favorite part about working at LC?
The people! We have such a wonderful crew at Lieb. Coming in as the new girl they were all incredibly welcoming, making me feel as if I’ve been a part of the team all along. Most days our job feels more like play than work. I get to spend the day laughing with friends and chatting about wine in an ideal setting, I feel pretty lucky to have stumbled upon this life.
What are your favorite Lieb and non-Lieb wines?
Oh this is a tough one. I’m normally a red wine type of girl, but our Sparkling Pinot Blanc has my heart.
As for non Lieb wines, I like to keep it local. Macari Bergen Road is a long time fav, as is McCall’s Ben’s Blend. Also have to shout out my girl Chloe Sparkling Rosé from Croteaux, she’s a summer time lover.
If someone gave you $100 and the day off, how would you spend it?
I’d most likely spend it all on food. I love to cook so I’d round up some ingredients from Sang Lee and the fish market, whatever is fresh, then invite some friends and family over. All I need is wine and a good meal, that’s my equation for pure happiness.
