Most memorable wine (or drink in general) I’ve ever tried: I’ve been lucky to have many memorable wine moments in great locations with interesting people. My most recent treasured wine memory involved an afternoon of trading cheese for wine and story for story at a winemaker’s co-op on a hot, sunny hill deep in the Santa Cruz mountains, while a trio of recent UC Davis viticulture grads shared the fun, weird, and wild wines they were experimenting with.

Favorite thing in the world: Early morning beach walks with my pup, Bunker.

The most random job I’ve ever had: Customer Experience Development for the Oakland-Telluride leg of a private-jet-sharing start-up. Tarmac mimosas, anyone?
